Picnic K-Street Food: Authentic Korean Street Eats in New Westminster, BC

I've been on the lookout for good Korean places ever since I came back from a trip to Korea earlier this year and Picnic K-Street Food did not disappoint! The spicy pork deopbap (which I was told was their best-selling item) was delicious, fresh, and authentic. I also found the people running the restaurant to be super friendly and kind. Can't wait to try more things on the menu!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just tried Picnic Korean Street Food and it was fantastic! I had the bibimbap and it was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The staff were wonderful too: so kind, patient, and helpful in explaining the menu since it was my first time. They’ve only been open a couple of weeks, but everything already feels so welcoming and well done. I really wish them all the best and can’t wait to come back!

First time trying Pinic K-Street Food and I loved it! I ordered ddeokbokki, spicy pork bibimbap, bulgogi kimbap, and a drink called Sik-Hye, which the owner recommended and even let us try. Everything was super tasty and freshly made. The owner was really friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and cozy. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

we just dined here & had such a wonderful time! i have been wanting to try Bibimbap for ages, and when i saw this place pop up i couldn’t wait to come! i got the soy chicken bibimbap & the woman who was working there was so kind & showed me how to eat it. i personally really appreciated that, because it made me feel so welcomed & i was guaranteed to eat it correctly! she told me how it is a Korean family meal, & how her own mother would mix it for her. that was so heartfelt to me. and the food was absolutely delicious! i am personally very happy with the prices, as i left super satisfied & with a smile on my face. can’t wait to come back thank you so much!

Delicious tuna kimbap I can’t stop thinking about. Stopped here for dinner with my siblings and we all enjoyed our food. I tried the tofu deobap and it was very delicious. Generous portions and amazing flavours. I will definitely be back.

Had the pork bibimbap and it was absolutely delicious. It was fresh and came out quickly. I had a lot of bibimbap when I was in Seoul a few years ago, and it was pretty much identical to what I remember. One thing that would make it better is if they had dolsot bibimbap available too. Will definitely return if I'm in New West again!

I’ve visited here 4 times. The food was delicious and tasted very authentic. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and reminded me of real Korean home-style cooking. Easily one of the best Korean spots I’ve tried. The owner was so friendly and attentive. Her warm attitude made the meal feel even more enjoyable!!
